Playing Our Part Speech Therapy is interested in connecting with charter schools to provide outside services to your students. Read below for more information:
Charter School Services: Playing Our Part Speech Therapy, P.C. is open to support families homeschooling through independent study models, providing specialized speech therapy sessions designed to complement your child’s education.
Class Descriptions: Our services include individualized speech therapy sessions, focusing on speech and language goals such as articulation, phonology, language development, and AAC. These services are supplementary sessions, not a replacement for formal education. The duration of service varies depending on the child’s progress and specific needs, and families will receive ongoing updates on their child's development.
Charter School Collaboration: Our program is designed to support families homeschooling through charter schools or private affidavits. Families may request our services through their charter school or contact us directly for private pay options.
Private Pay Option: Our services are open to all families, and you may pay out of pocket even if you are not affiliated with a charter school.
Pricing Information: All services are billed per session. Pricing details are as follows:

Location and Format
Alignment with Common Core State Standards: At Playing Our Part Speech Therapy, P.C., our speech therapy services are designed to align with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) to support the development of key communication skills when working with charter schools. Our therapy addresses important areas such as speech sound development, vocabulary expansion, listening comprehension, and expressive and receptive language skills all critical components of the CCSS for English Language Arts. By focusing on speech sound accuracy and clarity, we help students improve their ability to communicate effectively in both academic and social contexts. This is especially important as clear articulation and phonological awareness are foundational for literacy skills such as reading, spelling, and writing. Our individualized therapy sessions are tailored to meet each child's specific needs, ensuring they progress in a way that complements their academic learning and adheres to state standards.
Program Transparency: We do not provide representation at meetings, graduations, or teacher conferences, nor do we claim benefits offered by charter schools as part of our program.

- Initial Speech Sound Evaluation: $250 (required before therapy sessions begin)
- Initial Speech and Language Evaluation: $375 (required before therapy sessions begin)
- Individual Therapy Session (30 minutes): $70 per session

- In-Person Sessions: Held at our office at 12189 7th Street STE 3, Yucaipa, CA, in the Atlas Storage business suites.
- Online Sessions: Available upon request and availability
